THANKSGIVING SUNDAY IS NEXT SUNDAY and we will be collecting non-perishable food items to give to the local food pantries. Please bring these food items and keep them with you in the pew until the children come around with baskets to collect them and take them up to the altar. Thank you!
BERRY BOWLS will be on sale from Nov. 7th until Nov. 22nd, and all proceeds will go toward our Capital Campaign for the Building Fund. You may purchase a bowl after church today, at the Mission Fair, or place an order with Mary L. Johnson (239-4819).

“You Are the Light of the World . . .” – Help Us Keep the Lights On!
As people we have been blessed with the gifts of life, and as Christians we have been baptized into
a faith that transforms!
Imagine! God considers us essential to God’s Good News breaking forth in our world so that it may free the captives, lift up the poor, shelter the homeless and bring an end to war. This can happen only if people like you and I say “Yes” to God in our giving.
The Consecration Sunday for our 2010 Stewardship Campaign will be on December 13th this year. In the next few weeks during worship you will be hearing messages which remind us how we are the “light” which shines in this community and how we must continue to be good stewards of all we have been given. As we take this stewardship journey, we hope each of you will be prayerfully considering how you can support this church financially in 2010 and help us, literally, to “keep the lights on!”
