We continue to hold Worship Services in the Fellowship Hall through March 21st Palm Sunday.

OUTREACH TEAM:
There is an ongoing need of non-perishable food items, which will be delivered to our local food pantries. There are two large baskets along the back wall of the fellowship hall for anyone wishing to make a donation.  Please contact Cyndy Ryder if you have any questions regarding this mission.  Cyndy Ryder may be reached by calling 603-239-6093 or e-mail at caryder1@myfairpoint.net.  Thank you in advance for your continued support of this very important mission.

LADIES SOCIETY:
We will continue to accept donations for the Health and School Kits through April 11th.  There are signup sheets for each of these kits at the back of the fellowship hall which outline the items needed. Please touch base with Marion Baldvins if you have any questions regarding the Kits.  Thank you in advance for your support.

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR:
The Human Resource Team has placed a covered box in the Fellowship Hall for the purpose of accepting nominations for Volunteer of the Year (can be an individual or group).  On Sunday, April 18th we will honor the winner.  Please don’t forget to put your nomination in and if you feel like saying why you chose this person, feel free to do so.   Thanks

The Capital Campaign Committee will be raffling off a chance to win a weeklong vacation at a two bedroom lake house (sleeps seven) with sun porch and two decks. THE UNITED CHURCH OF WINCHESTER – ONLINE!
The UCW has a website, at http://www.ucwinchester.org/.  For those of you on FaceBook (and I see there are quite a few!) we now have a FaceBook page with associated Events Calendar. You can find us by searching for “United Church of Winchester” in FaceBook, or by going to this url: http://tinyurl.com/ygess5t.
If you have information you wish to have sent out on the Google Group, or dates that you wish to have put onto the calendar, please contact Allyson at 603-336-6144 or revallyson@gmail.com.

Evelyn (Rocket) Foster has volunteered to send out cheery notes to folks that might be in the hospital, recuperating at home or just need a note to say We Are Thinking of You!   Please touch base with Evelyn via phone at 239-6455, if you are aware of anyone needing a little cheering up!   Thanks

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING:
Through One Great Hour of Sharing, our gifts meet compelling needs, while also bringing the blessing of compassion into our lives.  On Sunday, March 14th we will be receiving our One Great Hour of Sharing offering.   All gifts great and small can go a long way in spreading God’s love in providing food, shelter and education to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Prayer, Meditation, Blessing - How To
Facilitated by Allyson Szabo
So far we have covered prayer and meditation, but our blessing class got postponed due to folks being away as well as the stormy weather. Even if you missed the first two classes, consider coming and joining us for the next few.  New people are always welcome! Our next class is Tuesday, March 9th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm in the parsonage and we’ll be discussing blessings and how they allow us to put God’s missions into action.  Contact Allyson at 603-336-6144 or e-mail revallyson@gmail.com for more information.

NEWSLETTER:
Deadline for the April Newsletter is March 19th.  All newsletter articles may be dropped off at the church office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am & Noon, or e-mailed to the church office at unitedchurchofwinchester@myfairpoint.net.  Due to time constraints, the deadline will not be extended.  Thanks

DISHES:
Are you missing that favorite pie plate? How about your favorite water bottle?  We have a nice collection of pie plates, serving dishes and other items that have been left in the church kitchen from previous bean suppers / meetings and other events.    Please take a moment to stop by and take a look to see if one of these items might belong to you.    Thanks
