ZIMBABWE

We have an opportunity to send small boxes of items to Zimbabwe via a container shipment, which is less expensive than sending through the mail. We plan to send one box to our sponsored orphan, Sibusisiwe Gapara, who will be 8 years old in July, and one to our partner church in Hwange to be distributed among needy folks in their church and their "preaching points" in nearby villages. We need to send a third box of similar items to be distributed to other churches which have not received anything. Suitable items include good used clothing, all sizes except large, school supplies such as

paper, pencils, crayons, and few SMALL toys. We need to have all items on hand
NO LATER THAN JUNE 13th.

FATHERS’ DAY CARDS

Father’s Day Cards from Church World Services will be available for a gift of $5.00, which will benefit the Tools of Hope offering each of the next three Sunday’s during fellowship hour. A card telling of your gift in your father’s honor is a perfect gift for the father who doesn’t need anything. We will receive the Tools of Hope offering on June 20th in honor of Father’s Day.

Hut to Hut (Mid- High) (grades 6-8)

Come experience the hospitality at the Appalachian Mountain Club huts as you traverse New Hampshire's high summits. This is hiking at its finest with a lighter pack, home-cooked meals, and a bed to sleep on each night. These trips have been very popular and often quick to fill.

Elementary camp is a great way for younger campers to experience overnight Christian Camping at Horton Center. The program is rich in faith discovery and lots of fun! Campers are challenged, have many opportunities to make new friends, and try new experiences on the mountain. They may enjoy arts and crafts, hiking, storytelling, fun and games galore. For the first time Horton Center camper, Elementary camp is a great first camp.
